Billie Joyce Crockett, 73 of West Memphis died January 1st at the Regional Medical Center in Memphis, TN. She was born on August 24, 1940 in Earle, Arkansas to the late Norman and Eva Needham. She was a member of the Church of God in West Memphis.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Crockett, and brother, Pete Needham.

Survivors include her son, Gregory Hendershott of Texas; sisters, Helen Ramsey of West Memphis, Betty Franklin of West Memphis, Shirley Cook of Marion; Gail Carroll of Byhalia, MS, Clara Coulter of West Memphis and Kathy Clark of West Memphis; brother, Michael Needham of Russellville, AR.

Visitation will be from 6 until 8 PM Friday at Roller Citizens Funeral Home in West Memphis. The funeral service will be at 10:30 AM Saturday at Roller Citizens Funeral Home with burial to follow at Crittenden Memorial Park.

Betty, Helen and all sisters and brother, it is with deep sympathy hearing of the loss of your sister, Billie Joyce..Your parents and mine were long time friends when they all lived in Mississippi..Even though I met Helen and Betty years ago, I wasn't aware my and your parents had known each other when they were very young...Please know that you all will be in my thoughts and prayers at this time of loss...
