March 1, 1928 - December 28, 2013
Virginia Lee Callahan, age 85, left her family on earth and joined her family in Heaven on December 28, 2013. She was born March 1, 1928. Greeting her in Heaven are her parents, Ethel Lee & Calvin George Settle, her husband, Dick Callahan, her fishing buddy Sara Cox, and her daughter Francis.
She left behind on earth her daughter, Cathy Jo Treat of Bryant; two sons, Richard Allen Zornes of Bryant and George Andrew Zornes of Siloam Springs; sister, Mary Margaret Chambers of Hot Springs, ten grandchildren, and eleven great grandchildren .
Her favorite activities were fishing and feeding any and all animals that came to her home. As she celebrates in heaven she will be dearly missed by her family here until "when we all get to Heaven what a day of rejoicing that will be!"
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday , January 2, 2014 at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander.
