Brenda, I just learned of Howard's death and cannot express my sorrow. Howard and I had a great time in high school with a lot of adventures with Bob Atcheson, Ronald Bennett, Ronnie Sutton and Theron Howard. I often tell my grandchildren stories of our good times fishing and fooling around. I have great memories of Howard and enjoyed seeing you both a few years ago. I don't have time to make it to the funeral but I will keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayers. Memories are all that any of us leave behind and I have great ones of my time with Howard.
My prayers are with the family.
Brenda: You and your family have been in our thoughts and prayers in the past months. We appreciate all of the contributions that Howard made to the Benton school system. Our three sons benefited from his efforts. Our prayers will be with you in the days and weeks ahead. In reading Howard's obituary I see that he and I were born on the same day, July 6, 1942.

I've known Howard since little league days at Tyndall Park. It's been many years since I've had any contact with him,but I'm confident he was still the same person I knew. He was fun to be around and kids loved him. One of my sons thought he was the greatest. He was a good man and will be mised. I rejoice with you, knowing he has just gone home. May God bless each one of you as you grieve his passing.
We all grew up at Benton School. I am so happy we were friends. I still have your first book. Brenda my prayers are with you and your family.
I am a better person for having had you and your humor in my life. Thank you for being my friend.
Rest in peace, Howard
