Frank Henry Gunderman, 84 of Conway, AR passed away on November 20, 2013. He was born in Morrilton, AR on June 2, 1929. He was the son of the late Frank J. and Margart (Streit) Gunderman. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He retired from Hiegel Lumber and Hardware Company after working there for 36 years. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and a 3rd and 4th degree member of the Knights of Columbus.
Survivors include his wife of 58 years Anna (Nahlen) Gunderman, children, Margaret (Calvin) Pearcy of Conway, AR, Sharon (Mark) Tyler of Morrilton, AR, Annette (Duane) Snider of Greenbrier, AR, and Janice (Jeff) Gossett of Little Rock, AR, 10 grandchildren Father Jason Tyler of Little Rock, AR, Tara (Norman) Elliott of Conway, AR, Kimberly (Justin) Spickes of Little Rock, AR, Joshua (Michelle) Tinker of Centerton, AR, Eric Tyler of Morrilton, AR, Rachel (Colton) Kordsmeier of Conway, AR, Matthew Snider of Fayetteville, AR, Melissa Snider of Greenbrier, AR Katherine Snider of Greenbrier, AR, Anna Gossett of Little Rock, AR, 4 step-grandchildren Ryan, Jordan, Madelyn, and Lillian Pearcy, 5 great-grandchildren Melody Spickes, Maggie Tinker, Hannah Tinker, Tyler Spickes, Emily Tinker, 2 brothers Andrew Gunderman of Irvine, CA, and Raymond Gunderman of Hattieville, AR, 2 sisters Helen McMillen of Conway, AR, and Clara Gangluff of Hattieville, AR.
Frank was preceded in death by, his parents, son John Gunderman, 5 brothers Sylvester Gunderman, James Gunderman, Joe Gunderman, Paul Gunderman, and Lawrence Gunderman.
The Rosary is at 6:00 pm, Friday November 22, 2013, followed by visitation at St. Joseph Catholic Church. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday November 23, 2013, also at the church. Pallbearers will be grandsons: Joshua Tinker, Eric Tyler, Matthew Snider, Norman Elliott, Justin Spickes, Colton Kordsmeier. Interment will take place following the Mass at Crestlawn Memorial Park in Conway.
The family request memorials to be made to the St. Joseph School Endowment or Sacred Heart School Endowment in Morrilton, AR.
