of Osceola, AR
October 28, 1936 - November 5, 2013
Pauline Williams was born October 28, 1936 in Osceola, Arkansas. Her parents, George Woodson and Addie Hall, preceded her in death. She confessed a hope in Christ at the age of 18 years old at the Zion Rock Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Preston. Upon moving to town, she later became a member of the Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church, but later moved her membership to the Bethlehem M.B. Church for convenience of its close proximity to her home. In 2006, she returned to Pilgrim Rest and remained a faithful member until her transition from earth to eternity. During her lifetime, she served in ministry as an usher, choir member and lastly, a mother of the church. She worked as a domestic worker to support her family until her health limited her mobility. She was a devoted mother to her three children (Deloris and Willie Mae Williams preceded her in death) and a caring grandmother to her grandchildren.
She leaves to cherish her memories: one son, Stanley (Denise) Williams, of Osceola, Arkansas; one stepson, Jerry (Catherine) Brown; nine grandchildren, twenty-one great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She will be remembered for her strength, tenacity and boldness.
I have nothing but fond memories of Ms. Pauline. From going across the street walking her dogs to playing Nintendo in the living room. She was a very witty lady and will be missed by everyone. I will continually pray for her family.
Can the dead really live again?
God is eager to do it again.
Jehovah (Psalm 83:18) hates death; He views it as an enemy.
1 Corinthians 15:26
He has a yearning to conquer that enemy, to undo death by means of the resurrection. He longs to bring back those who are in His memory and to see them live on earth again.
Job 14:14,15
Life is so uncertain but Praise the Lord Heaven Is Sure.
My love and prayers
Jerry
