Richard Leon Brewer, age 72, of Haskell, went home to his heavenly father on November 5, 2013. He was born on August 10, 1941 to H. V. and Lucille Brewer. He was preceded in death by his father H. V. Brewer, his brother Aubrey Brewer, his daughter Debbie Herring, a step-son Robert Brazil, his aunt Lena Ramsey, and his father-in-law Gerald Scott.
He is survived by his wife, Connie; daughter, Tamera Mitchell; mother, Lucille Brewer; sister, Diane Lyman and husband Joey; brother, Harvey and wife Kathy; step-daughters, Breanna Baker and Jackie Patrick; step-son, Steven Brazil, and mother-in-law, Meda Scott, all of whom reside in the Benton area. He had fifteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Richard was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and will be greatly missed.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday November 8, 2013 in the chapel of Roller-Ballard Funeral Home (315-4047) with Bro. Steve Cypert officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Harmony Cemetery in Haskell. Serving as pallbearers are Ty Bowman, Colby Bukosky, Jonathan Lyman, Rodney Lyman, Michael Baker, and Aaron Brewer. Steven Brazil will serve as honorary pallbearer.
Visitation will be held immediately preceding the funeral from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 8, 2013 also at Roller-Ballard Funeral Home.
