Danny Ralph Davis, 64 of Wilson, AR died Tuesday, July 2, 2013 in Jonesboro, AR. He was born on January 31, 1949 to the late Edgar Lee and Martha Melvina Davis in Blytheville, Arkansas. He was a Chemical Relief Operator for Viskase for 18 years and with CIBA/BASF for 15 years. Mr. Davis was a Vietnam Veteran and of the Baptist Faith. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Virgil Davis; sister, Jean Bagwell; and daughter, Sally Jeanette Bridges. Survivors include his wife of 31 years, Sara Davis of Wilson, AR; sons, Jeff and Jackie Bridges of Wilson, AR; daughter, Sally ''Nikki'' Bridges of Wilson, AR; granddaughter, Heather Bridges of Joiner, AR; great grandson Mason McCoy Cissell; sisters, Sue Thomas of Oklahoma City, OK, Ann Yankee of Blytheville, AR and Evelyn Young of Benton, AR; and brother, Dub Davis of Aurora, CO.

This came as a shock. I think of Danny the way he was years ago, quick with a smile and a joke. The way he gave all of himself to everything he did. He was always there when his family needed him. That is the way I choose to remember him, will all the vigor of youth. He will be missed by everyone who knew him. Goodbye uncle Danny. God bless you

So many memories of my Uncle Danny. It's hard to say goodbye to someone I always thought was 10 feet tall and bulletproof so I will just say I look forward to seeing you on the other side.
