Allen D. Ray, Jr., 58, of Hernando, Mississippi, died Tuesday, June 18, 2013 in Hernando, Mississippi. Born to Allen Ray Sr. and Gloria Ray on September 18, 1954 in Memphis, TN, he was a graduate of Ole Miss Law School, a Lawyer in Greenwood, MS and a member of the Methodist Church in Greenwood. He is survived by his son: William Ray of Memphis, mother: Gloria Ray of Osceola, 2 sisters: Martha Ray of Fayetteville and Linda Ray of Osceola, niece: Katie Lauren Gillespie and nephew: Travis Allen Robinson. He was preceded in death by his father.

I was Allen's secretary in the 80's. He was a great boss and person..May God be with your family...He will be truly missed..

I am so sorry about Allens death. We were together at Ole Miss in EX. I practiced medicine in Greenwood ms. for several years and Allen started his law career there about the same time. Allen was a great person. I am just sorry I lost contact with him when he left Greenwood.
