He was born July 6, 1954 to the late Rutherford Snow Wilson III and Linda Polk Kapp. He is survived by his two sons: Rutherford Snow Wilson V and Joseph Travis Wilson both of Cherokee Village; three grandchildren: Skyler Mitchell Ray Burton, Rian Mykale Wilson and Reese Snow Wilson; one sister Lindy Wilson, one niece: Deborah Snow Parker and one nephew: Web Haining all of Memphis, Tennessee.
