Robert was a kind, compassionate and polite man. He was a humble servant of the Lord Jesus Christ. He was a devoted husband, son, father, grandfather, and brother. The family wishes to thank Edith Boyce, an angel sent from God to help care for Robert and his wife, Joyce, the last several years of their lives.
Also, a special thanks to Tim and Shannon Johnson, and the staff at Culpepper Place in Jonesboro. We are so thankful for the special care and love he received during his short time there.
Robert was a proud Razorback fan and was a member of the University of Arkansas Alumni Association. He was a member of the Osceola Rotary Club, and enjoyed traveling with his wife, Joyce.
I attended Watson Chapel HS with Robert. He was the most polite and gentile guy I knew. I admired him for that but could not, hard as I tried, duplicate his character in my own life. RIP, buddy. And condolences to family and friends.
I was reunited with Robert when I was employed at Baptist Hospital in Memphis Tennessee. We both graduated in 69.
Kindest regards to his family and friends.

We just learned yesterday (06-10-13) of Robert's death when I saw it in the UAM Alumni Magazine. My wife and I were in college at UAM with Robert and in MBSF with him. He was such a good friend and was a groomsman in our wedding in 1972. Over the years we had lost touch, but we were saddened to hear of Robert's death. Robert was so much fun to be around. He was a caring, good, and loveable friend. My wife and I want his family to know how much we cared for him and how sorry we are that we lost touch over the years. We will have a reunion in heaven. God bless you, family.
Sorry about your loss. I really miss seeing Robert at chuch. He always had a smile and kind words to say. Melanie, I am so glad you had Edith to care for him like we did Mom. She is definitely and angel from God. Robert will be dearly missed by everyone.
Bobby and Joyce and family, Aunt Shirley just called and told us about Robert's death. We are so sorry for you Robert was a friend and a relative. We spent many an hour with him in Fayetteville. We look forward to seeing him again on the other side of life.
Rest on Mr. Naylor, you we're a good man. Prayers to the family.
Robert and I attended school together at Watson Chapel. I remember him as a kind, polite, and gentle young man. He was always nice to everyone he came in contact with at school. There should be more people like him in this world.
What a lovely tribute that you made for your father's life; It was most impressive and brought a tear to my eye. I never worked with your dad but knew of him and he was my son's counselor. He was well known, liked and a repected "gentleman".
Sincerely,
Brenda Cooper Sage (1990-2004 Osceola Public Schools)
God Bless the family because this will be hard on those left behind. Robert was such a wonderful, humble person. I don't think we have met anyone as nice.
