Nela Veine Davis, 66, of Burdette, AR entered into rest Saturday, March 2, 2013 in Memphis, TN. Born December 16, 1946 to E.J. and Elsie McDonald Smithey, she retired from American Greetings. She is survived by her husband of forty nine years, Luxtill Davis; one daughter: Sybil Gunn and husband Mike of Wilson; one son Kirby Davis and wife Katrina of Jefferson, GA; three grandchildren: Dustin Davis, Allyson Gunn, and Michael Gunn; one great grandson: Wyatt Davis; five sisters: Sue Hensley of Tennessee, Doris Brown of Lepanto, Ruby Patterson of Ripley, TN, Sarah Church of Russellville, AR, and Margie Herring of St. Francisville, LA. She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother: Jack Smithey.
