The past three years of my life have been so hard without you dad. Every day i wake up and think of the times we would spend hours on the lake fishing and wake boarding, the times we would canoe down the rivers, and the times we would go camping for weeks at a time. I want all that back. I would do anything to have you back. You are my biggest influence and I want you to know that you're dream of a canoe ministry will come true through me. I love you dad. I wish I could just be with you one more day. You were the best father i could ever ask for. You were so strong dealing with the cancer and i respect you greatly for never giving up and putting you're family first. I love you so much dad.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this time. Even though I only had the privledge of knowing Steve a short while since you all moved to this area, I will always cherish his friendship and the moments we all shared together (Farkle and All....) I know he fought really hard to stay with you and Jacob, and , he will be greatly missed.

Sharon & Gordon,
I was late hearing the news & so saddened to hear it. What a long road for Steven & family but what a strong battle was fought as hard as anybody could. How brave he & all the family have been . He fought the battle & won the race to his eternal & glorious home, now. I wish I could be there for you but know so many prayers of those that love you are & hope you feel strength from them. I'm there in spirit with love, Nelda K.
