Jennifer ''Lea'' Darnell Ellingston, age 39, of Benton, passed away Thursday, December 20, 2012. She was born August 10, 1973 in Little Rock to Mike Darnell and Debbie Littlejohn. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Benton. Before becoming fully disabled, Lea worked as a CNA.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her grandmother, Evalyn Littlejohn and grandfather, Roger Darnell.
Survivors include her husband, Darrell Ellingston of the home; one son, Christopher Michael Casteel and girlfriend, Sarah Mantooth of Benton; two daughters, Lauren Ashley Crosslin and husband, Zachery of Muldrow, Oklahoma and Carly Taylor Casteel and fiancé, Taylor Parsons of Alma, Arkansas; her mother, Debbie Littlejohn of Benton; her sister, Kelli Dawn McCallister of Benton; two grandchildren, Benjamin Thadeious Crosslin and Jax Raymond Parsons; her grandfather, Kenneth Littlejohn of Benton; her aunt, Marilyn Williams and husband, Joe of Benton; her nephew, Jeremy Jacob Lowrance; her niece, Deja Kendralyn; her aunt, Margaret Darnell Lancaster, and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Monday, December 24, 2012 at Roller-Ballard Funeral Home in Benton (501-315-4047) with Bro. Carl Richey and Bro. Mike Titsworth officiating.
Visitation will be from 6:00 8:00 P.M. Sunday, December 23, 2012 at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Thursday, December 27, 2012 at United Funeral Services in New Albany, MS with interment to follow at New Harmony Cemetery in Blue Springs, MS.
Visitation will be from 6:00 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 26, 2012 at United Funeral Services

My condolences to Debbie and Kelli. I knew Lea when she was a toddler, just for a short time as she was the daughter of my brother's new wife at that time. She will be missed.
