Paul C. PruschkiI am a Veteran.

of Osceola, AR

June 26, 1932 - September 8, 2012

Paul C. Pruschki, Sr. of Osceola, AR, passed away peacefully in his home on Saturday, September 8, 2012. He was 80 years old.
Paul was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri and lived there until he entered the Air Force at age 18 to serve his country during the Korean War conflict. After completing his tour of duty, he decided to leave the Armed Forces and enter school at St. Michael's College in Colchester, Vermont to pursue his passion in business and banking. While completing his 4-year Bachelor's degree in Accounting, he married the former Barbara Metras and started his family early, having three children before entering the banking industry. After transferring multiple times, Paul and Barbara settled in upstate New York and together they had a total of seven wonderful and successful children, who now live in New York, California and the state of Washington. Paul later pursued many different interests and moved several times before finding his true love in Osceola, AR.
Paul was an energetic and charismatic man who was smart, witty and loved by those who knew him well. He loved the outdoors, sports, and was athletic from his youth to the day he passed. Paul loved tennis, soccer, and fishing. He always enjoyed playing, coaching or watching any sporting event available. There was very little he did not excel in.
Paul is survived by his beloved wife Bettye Parnell Pruschki of Osceola, AR; his daughter Paula M. Meier and her husband Kenneth Meier of Walden, NY, his son Steven M. Pruschki and his wife Marie Pruschki, of Walden, NY; his son David Pruschki and his wife Cindy Pruschki of Seattle, WA; his daughter Gail Toth and her husband Steve Toth of Walden, NY, his daughter Suzan Karinchak and her husband Steve Karinchak of Walden, NY; his son Paul C. Pruschki, Jr. and his wife Sally Pruschki of San Diego, CA. and his daughter Amy Moreau and her husband Jack Moreau of San Diego, CA. Paul had 18 beloved grandchildren that he called his own.

Aunt Bettye: I am so sorry you are having to go through another tragedy in your life. I am also so thankful that you and Paul got to share your lives together the past few years. He was able to put a smile on your face again, and for that, we are eternally grateful. You also put a big smile on his face - you two were meant for each other. We all loved Paul immediately - he was so much fun and larger than life itself. We will miss him tremendously. It is our prayer that God will wrap you and the family in his loving, comforting arms during the difficult time ahead. I am so glad I had the time with you all last week when I visited - Paul was so sweet in our last conversations. I will cherish those memories, always. Love you so much....Sending you much love and deepest condolences.....

It was a great honor to be part of Mr. Pruschki's life. He brought energy and excitement to all that he was involved in and always put a smile on my face. My prayers go out to Betty and the rest our family. God Bless
