Mary Ann King, 77, of Helena, Arkansas passed away Monday, July 30, 2012 at her home. Mrs. King was born September 14, 1934 at Rondo, Arkansas to the late Paul A. York and the late Laura Wooten Motsinger. She was a retired administrative secretary for the Phillips County Health Unit and a member of the First Baptist Church in Helena.
She is survived by her husband, Billy Bonner King, Jr.; a son, Billy B. King, III of Helena; a daughter, Tammy S. Leifer (Jay) of Beebe, Arkansas; three grandchildren, James “Jimbo” Doyle, Jr., Madison Anne Doyle and Wyatt Edward King; and a sister, Georgia Hayes of Nashville, Tennessee.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Services for Mary Ann King will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, August 1, 2012 at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Park in West Helena. Brother Cliff Bernard will officiate.
Pallbearers are Brian King, Sam King, Ken Woods, Chris Brocato, Billy Ray Brocato, and Ed Williams. Honorary pallbearers are Larry Hornbeak, Terry Hornbeak, Jimbo Doyle, and Wyatt King. The family also wishes to recognize two additional honorary pallbearers “in loving memory" of Joel Wayne Scaife and “Rudder” Michael Williams.
Funeral services for Mary Ann King will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, August 1, 2012 at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park in West Helena.
