Mrs Audrey "Dossie" Grace Campbell

Audrey Grace Campbell, age 91, of Harrison, passed away Tuesday, July 17, 2012, at Bristol Pointe Nursing and Rehab in Harrison. She was born October 9, 1920, in Mt. Judea, Arkansas, the daughter of W. R. “Penn” and Rita (Cheatham) McCutchen. Along with her parents, Audrey was preceded in death by her husband, Garrett M. Campbell; two brothers; two sisters; and her special friend, Estella Dickey.

Audrey was a longtime member of Church of Christ. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She also enjoyed working in her garden and tending to her flowers. She would visit the sick and elderly at the hospital and nursing homes and comfort them in their time of need. She was a great woman who loved her friends and neighbors.

Audrey is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Frances Campbell and Eugene and Sharon Campbell, all of Harrison; her daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn and Bob Milam, of Harrison; eight grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; her special friends, Fama Dickey and Elisabelle Greenhaw; and a host of other family and many dear friends.

Visitation was open.

Funeral service was Friday, July 20, 2012, at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home, with Jim Gaskill officiating.

Interment was in Maplewood Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Dossie's grandsons.
