Bonnie Jean Hunter, age 80, of Bergman, AR, passed away Thursday, July 12, 2012, at her home. She was born March 17, 1932, in Marion County, Arkansas, the daughter of Oral and Idella (Jones) Cunningham, who preceded her in death along with 3 brothers and 2 sisters.
Bonnie was a member of Eagle Heights Baptist Church. She had worked as a waitress part time. Later she worked at Montgomery Wards in the catalog department and also for the Garment Factory here in Harrison. Bonnie worked as a teller for First National Bank and laster was appointed branch manager. She loved to work in her flower and vegetable gardens and enjoyed being a homemaker.
Bonnie is survived by her loving husband, Clarence Hunter, Jr., of the home; her son and daughter-in-law, Greg and Linda Hunter; her brother and sister-in-law, Glen and Arlene Cunningham; her grandchildren, Brittany Gibson and Tyler James Hunter; her great-grandchild, Jude Alex Zander Gibson; and a host of other family and many dear friends.
Visitation was open.
Funeral service was Saturday, July 14, 2012, at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home. Rev. Glenn Crenshaw officiated.
Interment was in Maplewood Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Eddie Whitney, Cam Whitney, Cody Whitney, Bobby Woods, Tim Moore and Mike Moore.
