Charles Ray Anderson, 72, of Lexa, Arkansas passed away Thursday, June 28, 2012 at his home. Mr. Anderson was born September 25, 1939 in Marianna, Arkansas to the late Cleo Anderson and the late Cleola Higgins Anderson. Charles was employed as an industrial engineer for Hoffinger Industries for 40 years. He served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War.
He is survived by his daughter, Karen Sefers (Paul) of Lexa; two grandchildren, Cody Sefers of Lexa and Haley Ballard of Jonesboro, Arkansas; one great-grandchild, Michael Paul Ballard of Jonesboro; two sisters, Ruby Wood of Jonesboro and Judy Evans of Texas; and a brother, Dwight Anderson (Mary) of DeValls Bluff, Arkansas.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Barbara Anderson; and by a brother, Junior Anderson.
Graveside services for Charles Anderson will be held at 3 p.m., Monday, July 2, 2012 at Sunset Memorial Park in West Helena. Visitation will be Sunday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Roller-Citizens. Reverend Audie Richardson will officiate.
