Linda Joyce (Tacker) Pierce, 65, of Wilson, AR died Wednesday, June 27, 2012 at Baptist East Hospital in Memphis. Born Sunday, March 2, 1947 in Dyess, AR to Cletus and Dorothy (Bullard) Tacker, she was a member of the Wilson First Baptist Church and a beautician. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her grandchildren. Survivors include her husband of 47 years: John Pierce of the home; three sons: Tim Pierce (Felicia) of Wilson, AR. , Neil Pierce (Heather) of Sherwood AR and Lance Pierce (Shana) of Jonesboro, AR; eight grandchildren; J.T., Abbey, Kelsey, Kesler, Carter, Preston, Katherine and Paxton; one great-grandchild: Adellyn; her mother: Dorothy (Bullard) Tacker of Whitton, AR; two brothers: Bobby Tacker of Whitton, AR and Cletus Tacker of Lepanto, AR., three sisters: Frances Cowden, Cordova, TN, Janice Colbert of Whitton, AR and Nancy Curtwright of West Helena, AR; a very special family friend: Cortez Kennedy of Orlando, FL . She was preceded in death by her father: Cletus Tacker, Sr. Pallbearers will be her nephews.
Linda loved her family, especially adoring her grandchildren, I know she will truly be missed by them. My thoughts and prayers are with her family. May the LORD hold you close to HIM. My sympathy to all.
