James Ralph Dunahoo, 83, of Osceola died at his home Monday, June 11, 2012. Born May 4, 1929 in Caruthersville, Missouri, to James Luther and Ollie Marie (Wilson) Dunahoo; he was a member of the Osceola Calvary Baptist Church, a Navy Veteran of the Korean War, and a Public Accountant in Osceola for over 30 years. In his spare time he loved to garden and fish. He kept the freezer stocked with fresh crappie. He was known as ''Pa'' to his grandkids and great grandkids who he loved spending time with.
Survivors include his wife of 63 years: Betty Jo (Pritchard) Dunahoo of the home; one son: James S. ''Jimmy'' (Pam) Dunahoo of Benton, AR; two daughters: Karen Jo (Rick) Jacobs of Osceola, AR and Teresa Marie (Donald) Godsey of Benton, AR; 6 grandchildren: Bryan Goble, Joiner, AR,; Kevin Goble, Wilson; Amy Bent, Russell Godsey, and Blake Godsey, all of Benton, AR; and Ashley Patterson, Bryant, AR; 11 great-grandchildren; and one niece: Jean Blackstock of Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents; sister: Betty June Hayden; brother: John Dunahoo and one niece.
