Kit (K.D.) Drannon Main, 90, of Keiser, Arkansas, passed away at his home June 11, 2012. Born July 1, 1921 in Higden, Arkansas to George Thomas and Anna Jane (Turney) Main, the family moved to the Keiser and Wilson area in 1925 and started farming. As World War II began, K. D. joined the Army and served 6 years in Alaska and the London Blitz. After his discharge from the service he returned and started farming for Lee Wilson &n Company and Hudson Wren. In March 15, 1950 K.D. met and married Patty Sue Ashley. He and his wife of 62 years farmed and raised two daughters: Glinda Main-Driver, Lona Main-Wilson; one son: Billy Ray Pilgrim in the Wilson, Keiser area
K. d. was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters: Oma Barnes and Lona Clay; and one brother: John H. Main. Kit and Pat have five grandchildren: Christopher Main, Sarah Griffin, Joshua Bennett, Erin Stroman, and Melissa Pilgrim; eight lovely great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson. He leaves behind a great many family and friends which he enjoyed throughout his life.
To sum up his life was his love of his wife, Pat, his children, lifelong friends, farming and later in life, his love of flowers.
Pa will be greatly missed. I'm so sad that he's gone, but I know I'll see him again one day. My love and prayers to everyone.

Uncle Kit ("Fudge") will always be in our hearts and remembered as a kind and giving man. A man who was an inspiration for all who knew him. He will be greatly missed.
I AM SO SORRY FOR YOUR FAMILY'S LOSS. MR. KITT WAS A SWEET AND WONDERFUL MAN. HE WILL BE MISSED BY MANY. MY PRAYERS GO OUT TO MS. PAT AND FAMILY.
Pat, Glinda, Lona, and family,I am so sorry for your loss. Kit was a good man, and a great friend to my daddy. He and Page were my daddies when I lost mine. Lona, I know the pain is hard.
