Harvey L. Beard, age 87, of Midway, Arkansas passed away Friday, May 25, 2012, at his residence. He was born April 24, 1925 in Norfork, Arkansas to Ed and Janie (Lackey) Beard. He married Pearl Parnell October 29, 1945 in Norfork, Arkansas.
Mr. Beard is survived by three sons: Doyle Beard and wife Jo Ann of Gassville, Arkansas, Billy Joe Beard and wife Cathy of Mountain Home, Arkansas and Daryl Beard and wife Cindy of Gassville, Arkansas, a daughter: Glenda Farris and husband Ernie of Cabot, Arkansas, nine grandchildren and several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife: Pearl Beard, three sons: Jerry, Tommy and Donald Lee Beard, six brothers and two sisters.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at the Roller Funeral Home Chapel with Funeral Celebrant Frank Daniels officiating. A visitation will be Tuesday from Noon – 9:00 p.m. with the family receiving friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Galatia Cemetery.
