Mrs. Carla Swadley, age 71 of Mountain Home passed away Sunday, May 13, 2012 at her residence. Carla Swadley was born September 5, 1940 in Mountain Home, Arkansas to Virgil Newton and Virgie Violet (Green) Lance. She married Billy Swadley June 8, 1959 in Mountain Home. She was a member of the College and North Street Church of Christ.
Mrs. Carla Swadley is survived by her husband, Bill Swadley of the home; one daughter; Lori Cox (Larry) of Mountain Home, her mother; Virgie Lance of Mountain Home, and 5 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father and one great grandchild.
Visitation for Mrs. Swadley will be Noon – 9 PM Wednesday at Roller Funeral Home with the family receiving friends 6-8 PM. Graveside services will be 10:00 AM, Thursday at Lower Oakland Cemetery with Brother Ken Burton officiating.
