Mr. Duck was truly one of the nicest most christian men I have ever met. One of my fondest memories of him was his beautiful voice as he led our congregation in songs of praise and worship to the Lord. I couldn't tell you how many pieces of double mint gum he gave me as a little girl! God Bless!!

So sorry to hear of your loss. Brother Gene is now singing in heaven with the angels. He taught me so much about life and how to live life as a Christian.
Brother Duck was one of the kindest, most dedicated Christian gentlemen I have ever known. His love for the Lord, His Word, and His church were exemplary, and motivated him to be a great servant, tirelessly working for the Cause of Christ. His loving encouragement of others greatly enhanced their lives and helped them to prepare for a better life here--and in eternity. He will be sorely missed. On behalf of all of the students, faculty, and staff at the Memphis School of Preaching, we send our condolences to the family. Brother Duck was a great friend of the School. Our prayers are for all those he left behind.
