Mr. Joe Paul Henderson 72, of Clinton, Arkansas went to be with the Lord at his home on Tuesday, May 8, 2012, after a 4 year long struggle with cancer. He was born November 11, 1939 at Paris, Arkansas to the late Paul Marvin and May (Whillock) Henderson.
At an early age Joe Paul worked in road construction, eventually specializing in heavy equipment operations initially with Fairfield Communities for 21 years then later retiring with the Arkansas Highway Department after 18 years.
He is survived by the love of his life and mother to their children, Ernestine. He is also survived by his daughter, Teresa Henderson Burns and son-in-law Steve Burns of Jonesboro, AR; and his son, Michael Louis Henderson and wife Donna Adcock Henderson of Conway, AR; also by his grandchildren Paige Burns Rogers, Alex Burns, Jordon Fonville, and Michael Paul Henderson, two brothers Phillip Henderson of Clinton, AR; and James Thomas Henderson of Denver, Colorado; and many relatives and friends.
Joe Paul was an avid deer hunter and gun enthusiast who enjoyed trips to Colorado, spinning yarns, antique tractors, and spending time with his coffee crew.
He was a doting grandfather with an inquisitive mind that enjoyed life. He will be sorely missed by his family and friends. Death leaves a heart ache that only God can heal; love, a memory no one can steal.

Family will Gather with Friends from 5:00-7:00pm Friday, May 11, 2012 at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home Chapel Clinton, AR. Memorial Service 11:00am Saturday, May 12, 2012 at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home Chapel Clinton, AR.
Cremation Arrangements are under the care and direction of Roller-McNutt Funeral Home of Clinton, Arkansas.
