Mary Lou Stingley Smith, 81, of West Helena, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, April 24, 2012 at her home. Mrs. Smith was born December 29, 1930 at West Helena to the late Frederick “Fred” and Bessie Lou McGrew Stingley. She was a retired insurance claims representative.
Mrs. Smith is survived by her husband, Benjamin Kirk “B.K.” Smith of West Helena; one son, Joe Smith and wife, Jan of West Helena; one daughter, Lynn McDonald of West Helena; four grandchildren, April Harper and husband, Bruce, Christy King and husband, David, Trey Steiner, and Lisa Smith; eight great-grandchildren, Katherine Norman, Blake Harper, Bradley Harper, Zack Harper, Bailey King, Hadyn Steiner, Abby King, and Clayton King.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, James “Jim” Stingley; and her grandmother Lula “Damie” McGrew.
Funeral services for Mary Lou Stingley Smith will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, April 26, 2012 at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park in West Helena. Reverend Richard Rogers will officiate. Visitation will be held from 1:30 p.m. until service time.
Pallbearers are Randy Catlett, Walter Morris, Jr., Orin Robinson, Patrick Martin, Dan Johnson, and Ken Leitch.
