Franklin D Archer

Mr. Franklin D Archer, age 76 of Mountain Home passed away Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at St. Vincents Hospital in Little Rock. He was born October 12, 1935 in Burlington, Kansas to Elmer and Wilma Peterson Archer. He married Diane Gillham on May 10, 1985 in Bull Shoals.

Mr. Archer was an Army Veteran and attended the Bar None Cowboy Church in Mountain Home. He was past owner of Lakeview Discount Tire and had worked for Alternators Plus in Gassville. He enjoyed working in his yard and especially like playing with his miniature pincher, Pedro.

He is survived by his wife, Diane Archer of Mountain Home; 3 sons: Michael Archer of Mountain Home, Andy Archer of Clear, Alaska and Buddy Archer of Sheldon, MO; 4 daughters: Christina Rowden of Mountain Home, Joanna Patton of Wichita,KS, Anita Norris of Nevada, MO and Melissa Hargrove of Dumas, Texas; 3 sisters: Jean Wallace , Alice DeVall and Peggy Williamson, all of Bull Shoals; a brother, Phillip Archer of Blue Springs, MO; numerous grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Kenneth Archer and 2 grandchildren.

.A memorial service, conducted by Pastor Bill Howse will be held 2 PM Monday, April 9, 2012 at Roller Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour before the service.Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Franklin Archer in care of his family.
