A loving, dedicated wife, sister, mother, aunt, grandmother, and great-grandmother, this beautiful and sweet lady was born October 6, 1931 and died at home on Wednesday, March 14, 2012, at the age of 80, with family by her side. She was a homemaker, a native of Osceola, Ark., and a resident of Baton Rouge. She is survived by her two children, Becky Chisholm and husband Bill, and George Parsons and wife Edie; grandchildren, Bill Chisholm and wife Erica, Erin Lee and husband Chip, Chris Chisholm and wife Eileen, Brad Chisholm, Fran Parsons, and Mandi Parsons; great-grandchildren, Liam Chisholm, Avery Chisholm, Charlie Lee, and Allie Chisholm; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Marion F. Parsons and Robert B. VanTassel; parents, Ethel B. Hurst and Opal Hurst Dudley; brother and sister-in-law Jack and Coleen Hurst. She was a member of the Junior Auxiliary in Osceola, Ark; and the Methodist Women's Circle and Red Hat Society in Gulf Breeze, Fla
