The last time I saw Earl, he stopped by my Mothers ( Nan Matthis Hawkins ) with his sister Dora. Don't believe I've ever laughed so hard in my life! To watch the 3 cousins reminisce about old times was such a joy. Thank you Earl for bringing sunshine, love and laughter. So many wonderful memories.... Love, Julie

To the Barnes family, you have my heartfelt sympathy and prayers.
I only met Mr William a short time ago while he made visits to the office that I work in. When we met each other and I told him that I knew some of his family here in Helena we just hit it off! He was such a joy and we were always happy to have him come out for a visit. His sweet sister always by his side........I only knew him for a short time, but he touched my life and brought me joy everytime I saw him.......Heaven has another angel! RIP Mr William.......you are renewed and in the company of the Almighty!

Brother Bill was someone I could to look to for spiritual guidance and for his wisdom but most of all, I knew him as a friend. I will miss his wit and humor, and of course that big warm smile that always came with it. Please know I am praying for your family's during this difficult time.

We send our love and deepest sympathy to the wonderful family of Bill Barnes. He has blessed us many times with thoughtful and inspirational sermons. His Sunday School classes, visitations and counsel were so uplifting to our families. This man had a Pastor's heart and wanted everyone to know Jesus Christ as Lord. His children and grandchildren are continuing in that ministry. They are a blessing to us at All Nations Church. We will miss him but will see him again soon at that great reunion in Heaven. That's what his life was all about. Our love and prayers go out to the family.
