Mrs. Virginia Roark, 80, of Luxora died Wednesday, November 2, 2011 at Methodist Hospital in Memphis. Born in Haywood County in Tennessee, the daughter of Floyd Lumley and Leona Wilson, she lived most of her life in Luxora, where she was a seamstress. She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Novella Roark, one brother, Billy Wilson, one step daughter, Billie Jean Roark and her husband of 23 years, Joe Bill Roark. Mrs. Roark leaves two daughters: Jo Ann Baszkiewicz and son-in-law Ed Baszkiewicz of South Boston, Mass and Vanessa Chun and son-in-law Tracy Chun of Blytheville. She also leaves two step daughters, Judy Bynum of Magnolia, Texas and Shirley Lapa of Blytheville, AR; three brothers, Bobby Wilson and wife Patsy of Osceola, Bruce Bledsoe and wife Janet of Conway, AR and T.J. Warren of Russellville, AR, one sister: Peggy Walls and husband Billy of Armorel, AR, six grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
My wife and I have just been informed of Ms. Virginia's passing and feel a deep loss for a dear friend. She and Frankie (Renfro) Williams had been friends for a long time and we would always take Virginia to Reelfoot Lake with on. We loved spending time with her and she will be deeply missed. I was so sorry to hear about Virginia's passing. She was one of the nicest woman I ever met. She always spoke to me and visited a minute when I saw her (usually at Walmart), I pray for her family as you go through all of the emotions you will have due to her loss.
It was a shock to hear of Mrs. Virginia's passing. She was a sweet,sweet lady. We will all miss her greatly.She is well now and walking with Jesus! I wil miss you too, Mrs. Virginia, but I look forward to seeing you again, one day!
So sorry about the passing of Virginia, she was such a sweet lady and a true lady. She loved her family and she loved her friends. She is really going to be missed. May God bless you all in your sorrw.
Whenever I would take any clothes to her for alterations, she would make a point to ask me about each member of my family. Virginia was a very soft spoken and caring lady who will be missed by many. My deepest condolences go out to her entire family and also to her many friends. She was such a nice lady.
My thoughts and prayers go out to the family. I remembered how Mrs. Roark always help make our costumes for the Christmas Program at our church, The First Assembly of God in Luxora.
I considered Virginia one of my best friends. We go way back. We are all still shocked and so very saddened to learn of her loss. She had such a sweet spirit about her and was so kind to everyone. My family and I will miss her so so much - she was one of a kind. I hope God will provide all of us with sweet memories and comfort in the days and months ahead. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the entire family and community who loved her so much. She is flying high with the angels now...we love you, Virginia!

Virginia was such a sweet, wonderful lady who always wore a sweet smile and had kind words to say. She will be greatly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
