Donald A. Diemer, 67, of Batesville died Monday, October 31, 2011. Born Sunday, January 2, 1944 in Little Rock, he was the son of Edgar Allen and Rachel (Stivers) Diemer. During his high school days, he was a very good basketball player and Elvis impersonator. He loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing and feeding the deer. His favorite place to be was his farm in Bethesda. He was a welder, worked construction, and retired from Ed Diemer Trucking. Donald was a very generous man and always cared for his family and friends. He was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include his sons: Donald O. Diemer and his wife, Cheri of Illinois and Brandon A. Diemer and his wife, Jill of Idaho; a daughter, Tabitha A. Nesterenko and her husband, Tony of Little Rock; nine grandchildren: Madison Diemer, Joeli Diemer, Daimon Diemer, twins Madison and Allison Batchelor, Preston Nesterenko, Hunter Diemer, Brooke Diemer, and Finley Diemer; a brother, David O. Diemer and his wife, Charlotte of Batesville; a sister, Marilyn Earnheart and her husband, Richard, also of Batesville; a special friend and companion, Myrl Ann Willets of Batesville and her daughter, Wendy Bird of Los Angeles; many nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and many cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents. The body will be cremated and a memorial visitation will be held on Saturday from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Roller-Crouch Funeral Home.
