Jack Lanier Wilson, 88, of Osceola entered into rest Saturday, September 10, 2011 in Osceola. Born April 19, 1923 in Toccopola, MS to the late David H. and Annie Mae Wilson, he was a member of First United Methodist Church of Osceola, a Navy Veteran, a retired manager of Osceola Municipal Power & Light, and Paul Harris Fellow of Rotary Club. He enjoyed family, friends, Methodist Men's Club, fishing, golf and serving on the board of Osceola Boy Scouts Troop 221. He is survived by one son: Dr. Mark K. Wilson and wife Connie of Osceola; one daughter: Jennye Wilson Heidelberg and husband Jimmy of Pascagoula, Mississippi; four grandchildren: Miller Wilson of Osceola, Holly Wilson of Washington D.C., Mary Heidelberg Banks and husband Brock of Mobile, AL and Kate Heidelberg of Pascagoula, MS. He also leaves behind a special friend, Ricarda Snellback. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Mary S. Wilson and wife Maxine G. Wilson.
Mark, Connie, and Jennye, I am so sad that you have lost Mr. Jack. he was just the nicest man. Rex and I have you in our thoughts and prayers. Bless your hearts.
