Edward Dewey Brister, Jr., 79, of Keiser entered into rest Friday, June 17, 2011 in Keiser. Born December 11, 1931 in Driver to the late Edward Dewey Brister, Sr. and Mable Ruth Brister, he attended First Baptist Church of Keiser, worked for the City of Wilson and was a farmer. He is survived by his wife: Geneva Adams Brister; one son: Lance Brister and wife Christie of Joiner; one daughter: Annette Atchley and husband Sam of Keiser; five brothers: Ellis Brister of Lepanto, Donnie Brister, Gary Brister and Ricky Brister all of Blytheville; Ronnie Brister of Batesville; seven sisters: Betty Martin, Lena Herrington, Carolyn Horton all of Keiser, Dorothy Gatewood of Monette, Linda Carr of Joiner, Frances Croney of Myrtle, MO and Penny Challis of Marston, MO; four grandchildren: Nicole, Joshua, Matthew and Callie. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son: Dewey Brister, Jr., two brothers: Alfred and Billy Brister.
