I was stunned to learn of David's death while watching the news. I couldn't believe my eyes. He had been on my mind heavily the day before, now I understand why. He was a good man, friend, person. He always talked about his family, his love of fishing, camping, and hiking. He was so proud to have followed in his fathers footsteps in being a locksmith. I am so happy to know that he found Katherine and was happy at last. I will miss him.
My thoughts and prayers are with your family David for I know you are where you are happy and with your wife. I am saddened for her family and friends that she was lost. It's bittersweet that you both were taken together.
I was a State Trooper in Faulkner co. In the 90's. I called on David many times for his knowledge of locksmithing. On a personal note David & I became fishing buddies. We shared a wonderful friendship & I was amazed at the fishing lures David would hand make. We lost touch when my job transferred me to another area, but I think of my memories & miss him. You are in my thoughts & prayers.
Mrs. Talley-
I knew David from my work for the Pleasant Valley POA. He was always so kind and helpful...he seemed so laid back. As he worked, I would sit and visit with him. I just had a sense that he was a kind-hearted, generous man...and he had a great laugh and smile.
I am so sorry for your loss. God bless you,
