Helen E. Pollard, 87, of Pauls Valley, OK, formerly of Osceola, entered into rest Friday, March 4, 2011 in Pauls Valley. Born in West Plains, MO, May 27, 1923, to the late Louis and Nancy York, she was a member of Beaty Baptist Church in Pauls Valley and a past member of First Baptist Church in Osceola and a homemaker. She is survived by her six sons: John William Derward Pollard of Little Rock, Bobby Wayne Pollard of Boston, MA, Perry Dean Pollard of Bartlett, TN, Donald Warren Pollard of Sugarland, TX, Dick Dale Pollard of Little Rock and Danny Joseph Pollard of Memphis, TN; two daughters: Patty Helen Watson of Manila and Penny Ellen Richmond of Pauls Valley, OK; thirty-three grandchildren, sixty great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren; two sisters: Patsy Carrow of Sapulpa, OK and Shirley Spivey of Paris, TN; two brothers: Donald York of Kansas City, KS and Jack York of St. Louis, MO. She was preceded in death by her husband Sidney William Pollard, her parents, three sons: Jimmy Ray Pollard, Sidney Lyn Pollard, Jr., Timmy Lee Pollard, Sr.; two daughters: Janet Ruth Smith and Martha Jane Harris; two great grandsons: Hunter James Watson and Brandon Lee Smith; two brothers: John Riley York and Robert York; one sister: Judy Presley.
