Captain Buddy,
We think of you both so fondly when we remember our great Steamboatin days! Miss Alice was a sweet, wonderful lady. I remember you came into the Grand Saloon one night when Tom and the band were playing, and Miss Alice sat on the side while you danced a quick dance with me! She will be sweetly remembered and missed. Love, the Hooks
You and your family will be in our prayers.
Mr. Murihead,
You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. I pray for comfort for you during this time of sorrow.
Dear Captain Buddy,
I want you to know how deeply sorry I am for your loss. I remember having numerous conversations with Miss Alice. She always lifted my spirits when I was feeling home sick. She was a very sweet lady. I will be miss her!
May you see God's light on the path ahead
When the road you walk is dark.
May you always hear,
Even in your hour of sorrow,
The gentle singing of the lark.
When times are hard may hardness
Never turn your heart to stone,
May you always remember
when the shadows fall—
You do not walk alone.
Love,
