Walter Orlis Williams, Jr.

Walter Orlis Williams Jr., of England, went to be with the Lord on Christmas Eve, Friday, December 24, 2004. He was born September 14, 1921, the only child of Walter and Ora Williams of England. He was a member of First Baptist Church, England, and a retired farmer. He was a veteran of World War II where he served in the Coast Guard for 3 1\2 years of which 18 months were in the Pacific. He was a past president of Merrisach Hunting Club and a member of the Lion’s Club.
He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Ruby Lee Hearon Williams;
four children who loved him greatly, Judy Compton (Don), Linda Nichols (Michael), and Charles Williams of England, and Tammie Williams of North Little Rock; He was “Dandy” to nine grandchildren; Cristi Roulston (R. D.), Amy Moss (Logan), Adam Compton (Jena), Jolynn Price (Brady), Bliss Beeman (Chance), Brock Thomas (Ambur), Drew Thomas (Arica), Chad Williams ( I’Lisa), and Briana Williams; 10 great-grandchildren, Merritt and Colby Moss, Hannah and Conner Price, Lindsay Compton, Blake Roulston, Colton Williams, Ashton Thomas, and Taylor and Lindsey Beeman; and many wonderful relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Sunday from 4:00 – 6:00 P.M. at Roller England Funeral Home. (501) 842-3939. Services will be 2:00PM Monday, Dec. 27, at First Baptist Church, England with burial at Mulberry Cemetery, England.
