Robert Chaney Jr passed away on December 14, 2009 at the age of 87. He was farmer and carpenter for 30 years. He was the Chief of Police of Crawfordsville for 8 years, served on the volunteer Fire Dept in Crawfordsville; he also served in the Army. Mr. Chaney leaves behind 3 sons Robert "Buz" Chaney from Crawfordsville, AR, Glenn "Bear" Chaney from Bella Vista, AR, Chuck Chaney from Crawfordsville, AR, 2 daughters Sally Kaye McGinnis from Marion, AR, and Sandra Marotti from Crawfordsville, AR, 3 sisters Fran Ruwitch from Miami, FL, Mary Moricoli from LadyLake, FL, and Ellen Kesterson from Memphis, TN, one brother Harvey Chaney from Memphis, TN 20 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife and parents. The visitations will be held on Wednesday December 16, 2009 from 6-8 pm and funeral services will be held December 17, 2009 at 1 pm. All Services will be held at Roller-Citizen Funeral Home in West Memphis, AR.
