Maxine, I am so sorry for J.B. passing. The two of you have been a fantastic example of love and reaching out to others. Jerry and I both admired you and enjoyed the times we were able to be involved in your house church. Jesus now has his arms around him and J.B. is feeling no pain. Love you.

Dear Jewell, Vera, Karen, and James,
I am not sure that you remember me. Your family attended Herndon when Robert (Ray), my first husband preached there. Then we attended for a short time together at Downtown before we moved to Pocahontas. You may have known that Robert passed away several years ago. (1985) Robert and I both thought the world of your dad as well as you all. We had no children at that time and we thought you all were the kind of kids that everyone would want. We LOVED hearing Jewell and James lead singing and read scriptures. James was just beginning and doing it much less often than Jewell. Vera and Karen, you both were always so quiet and you were beautiful young ladies both inside and out. You all made such an impression on us. Your dad had a kind, quiet, and unassuming spirit unlike most men. He truly had a name that fit him, as he was a rare "Jewel". My heart and prayers are with you at this difficult time. I am not sure just exactly how and when the events in the here after works but I know your dad is in heaven or in the place to await that promised gift. I hope that in that place those gone on can see and talk to and welcome those that arrive because I know your dad and Robert would love to see and talk to each other. I am so happy that they both fought the good fight and kept the faith and have that crown that is laid up for them and for all of us too that do the same. I am also so thankful that they both are out of pain. God Bless all of You as You mourn and learn to live without him! I and many others mourn for you and with you. With Christian Love, Debbie Long Ray Roberts

will do to me and my husband ,Gary.
He will be missed. I hope the example of his life will
be what inspires us when sadness creeps in.
We are told to rejoice at the day of death more than the day
of birth. I am not there. Maxine we love you and

Jewell, Vera, Karen & James - My family's thoughts and prayers are with you at this time as they have been since I learned of Uncle J.B.'s illness. I only wish I could be there to encourage you through this time. Uncle J.B. was such a loving and caring person and I will always remember how I loved to come to his house when I was a little girl. His "hugs" and love were such a great encouragement! He is greatly loved and will be missed.

May God remind us daily of the many blessings we have. One such blessing is knowing this extra special man. Anyone who met J.B. Wallis knew he was a man that walked with God. May the family draw strength from God and each other as they grieve their loss. My prayers are with you all. In Him, Sheila
