James “Tim” Yeargan, 52, of Benton, died January 28, 2009 at Arkansas Heart Hospital in Little Rock. He was born November 12, 1956. He was preceded in death by his father, James “Jim” Yeargan, one brother, Randall Yeargan, grandfather, Hugh Wickliffe, and grandmother, Gencie Yeargan. He was a proud graduate of UCA and Phi Sigma Epsilon member. He was a wonderful friend to all who knew him and loved people, golf, and fishing. He was also a Razorback enthusiast.

He is survived by his mother, Bernice (Wickliffe) Yeargan of Benton; one brother, Robert E. Yeargan (Tammy) of Benton; grandmother, Louise Wickliffe; three uncles, Morris Wickliffe (Vickie), Jim Wickliffe (Jill), and Jack Yeargan (Marilyn); one aunt, Honey Adams (Max); two nephews, Allan James and Jason Tyler Yeargan and their mother Julie, numerous cousins, special friend Sharon Wisdom, and his cat “Tinkerbelle”.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, February 1, 2009 in the chapel of Roller-Ballard Funeral Home (315-4047) with Bro. Gene Huskey and Paul Jackson officiating. Interment will follow at New Rosemont Memorial Park.

Visitation will be Saturday, January 31, 2009 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
