Kent helped me at a very low point in my life. He was the only attorney in Arkansas that could.

I am forever grateful to Kent!

I miss him! I loved to talk to him!

He always said, Emily- I don't care about anyone else! I care about you! I'm worried about you!

He was the best attorney! He treated me like I was his daughter!

Dear Family,
The heartache you are feeling must be unbearable. Kent has always been our friend first and our attorney second. Not only was he available 24/7 he made you feel as though you were his only client when his expertise was required. First, Kent was the "Dogman's" Friend, my dad, Carroll Blair's Friend, and my brothers and sisters friend, he saw us through many a dificult time and celebrated the victories with us as well. He offered advice, words of wisdom and a shoulder to cry on more times than you can imagine. He was a man whose loss leaves a void in my heart.

Our thoughts and prayers to you and yours. Mr. Rubens was a wonderful attorney and was enjoyed by all. If you needed an answer, he would find it and was of help to everyone. He never hesitated to buy a court reporter lunch if he was around and always had a smile that would improve your day. I feel privileged to have known him and will miss him as I'm sure the whole legal community will -- our hearts are with you.

To the entire Rubens family, please accept my heartfelt condolences. Kent was such a fine man, assisting my family during the loss of my mother. He would not accept a dime for his hours of work. His kind and generous manner set him above all in his field. May God bless each of you during this very sad time in your lives and give you peace.

I have always considered Mr. Rubens to be a brilliant attorney and a court reporter's dream. To be sure, he always kept me on my toes, hunting for the proper spelling of words and phrases that are not often used in today's vocabulary. It was always a pleasure to have Mr. Rubens in our courtroom or deposition. He will be missed by many in our "legal family." Your family is in my thoughts and prayers.

Our family sends our deepest sympathy. Kent was a rare gem in and out of the courtroom. His father, Judge Rubins was my mothers attorney. Kent continued that family tradition with my family. His concern and compassion was never ending. He would always say "call me day or night at my home or work." And no one could ever call him Mr. Rubens. He would reply "that was my father, I'm Kent." We have lost a true gentleman and scholar.

Kent was my lawyer at the time of his death and had been for many years. I was shocked and saddened upon hearing of his death yesterday. He was vibrant and brilliant and strong... I will miss him. Kent spoke often of Belinda, his wife, with words of admiration and love. He always said she was the best thing that ever happened to him. I extend my deepest condolences to you, Belinda. I also would like to express my condolences to Beth and Cynthia, who worked daily with Kent. I know you will deeply miss Kent Rubens.

He was a special lawyer. I enjoyed reporting many days that he spent in the 22nd Judicial District before the Honorable Robert W. Garrett. He will be missed.

To Mickey, Terri, Rick, and family,
Kent was a special man. He was always kind and compassionate. He took the time to see that his Mother (Mickey) was visited and loved. He gave as much as he could and was respected for his giving.
Crittenden County will truly miss his wisdom in the profession of law that he loved. The business community will miss him. I know that his family will too. They are each a reflection of who his was also.
My prayers are with each of them.
