Mr. Billy Joe ''B.J.'' Johnson, Sr., age: 82 , of Mountain Home died Monday, August 25, 2008 at Hospice of the Ozarks Hospice House. All services will be private. Mr. Johnson served in the US Navy in World War II and later worked as a foreman for the Missouri Pacific Railroad. He was a Freemason and a member of First Freewill Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Christine Henry Johnson and 2 stepchildren: Christopher White and Juuleece White of the home; 1 daughter, Diana Teeter (Chuck) of Germantown, Tennessee, 2 brothers, Lee Johnson and Jack Johnson; 2 sisters Jeanette Jacobs and Joan Hightower; and 1 niece, Rosalie Cathey. He was preceded in death by his parents, 4 sisters, 4 brothers, 1 son, Billy Joe Johnson, Jr., and first wife Virginia Lee (Owens) Johnson.
Private burial will be in Baxter Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to First Freewill Baptist Church of Mountain Home.
