Karl Seiter, Jr., 74 of Gassville passed away Saturday at Baxter Regional Medical Center. He was born July 24, 1933 to Karl and Frieda Erika (Blum) Seiter in Oak Park, Illinois. Karl and his family moved to the area in 1940. A US Navy Veteran, Karl later worked as a contractor building many homes in the area. Karl loved spending quality time with his grandkids. He was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church.
He is survived by Marianne, his wife of over 48 years, 3 sons: Ron Seiter and wife Jackie of Port St. Lucie, FL, Steve Seiter and wife Diane of Dexter, MO, and Jeff Seiter and wife Mary of Hixson, TN; 1 daughter: Karla Chrismon and husband Brad of Yukon, OK; 13 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister, Erika.
Friends are encouraged to come share a Gathering of Remembrance with the family in the Roller Funeral Home Chapel Tuesday 10AM Noon. In lieu of flowers, contributions are requested to an account at First Security Bank to help defray the cost of the funeral.
