Ruth Fisher, 68, of Maumelle, Arkansas, formally of England, AR went to be with the Lord Saturday, August 18, 2007. She was born March 11, 1939 to John Edward Nunnally and Floy Mayo Nunnally.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one sibling brother.
She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 50 years, Tommy Fisher; one son Tommy Fisher, Jr. and wife April and grandson, Colton Fisher all of Maumelle, AR.; 2 brothers: Amos Nunnally (Lavene) of Norman, OK and James Nunnally (Agnes) of Purcell, OK; two sisters: Naomi Davis (Elmer) of Washington, OK and Martha Higgins (Keith) of Bethany, OK.
Ruth was a very active member of the First Baptist Church in England, AR. She taught in the Pre School Sunday School Department for many years. Ruth loved to entertain family and friends in her home. She volunteered and was involved in the England Little League Association and England Academy Concession stands 10 years.
Funeral services will be held at First Baptist Church in England, AR. at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, August 21, 2007 with Rev. Rick Hyde and Rev. Robert McDaniel officiating. Burial will be in Mulberry Cemetery in England, AR.
Visitation will be Monday, August 20th from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at Roller-England Funeral Home (501) 842-3939.
Memorials may be made to Arkansas Hospice and Arkansas Alzheimer's Association.

Tommy I did not know your mom but I see from her picture that she was a lovely lady, and reading the messages it sounds like she made a lasting impression to many people in her life here. I do know what it is like to loose a Mother so my thoughts & prayers will be with you and your family during this very difficult time. God Bless You.
Mr. Tommy and little Tommy our heartfelt sympathy in this time of loss. We have lost one of the most special people that I knew. She was a doting wife, mother and grandmother; whose family was always first.
