I have many good memories of my uncle Randall. I remember him having a sense of humor, but most of all, I remember him being warm and kind. Living in different states, sometimes it can be hard to maintain a connection with people, especially as a child. And it can give you a bit of anxiety when it comes time to visit people you don’t normally see. But I never had that anxiety around uncle Randall. He knew how to talk to you like you were important, he knew how to break that ice. I don’t think he ever knew a stranger. I always looked forward to seeing him. The last time I saw him was at my grandpa Duncan’s funeral, and I told him that I was going to come visit him sometime, and his response was “You better.” I’m sorry I never got that chance. Rest well, Uncle Randall.

Bill was a great friend and neighbor to me and my family. From the first time I met him we hit it off and were friends ever since. He was always there when I needed him and I am forever grateful to have known him. I will miss my fishing buddy and the good times we shared. Rest In Peace until we meet again.
