Tasso Johnsie Tate, 78, of Batesville died Friday, December 16, 2016.
He was born in Mount Pleasant, Arkansas on March 18, 1938 to Johnsie and Gretchen Tate.
He is survived by good friends; Wimp and Glenda Franks and Debbie Satterfield; half niece, Joann; and two half great-nieces, Allison and Ashley.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Graveside service will be held at Pleasant Valley Cemetery at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, December 20, 2016 under the direction of Roller-Crouch Funeral Home of Batesville.
There will be no visitation.
