Bonnie Lee Bell Kimmer of Batesville, Arkansas died October 3, 2016, at her residence.

She was born in Mountain Home, Arkansas on January 8, 1931, and was the daughter of George Lester and Ursula Jane (Sherwood) Bell.

She retired after 35 years from Heasley's Furniture and Appliances where she was the assistant manager. She was a member of the New Hope Cumberland Presbyterian Church her entire life. She also was a member of the Eastern Star, the Red Hat Society, and Business and Professional Women's Club. She was a devout Christian woman. She especially loved her family and was a ''people'' person.
She enjoyed gardening and working on the farm.

She is survived by her grandson, Bryan Kimmer and his wife, Crystal, of Batesville; her son-in-law, Rick Smith, of Batesville; two great-grandchildren, Hannah Kimmer and Will Kimmer of Batesville; a sister, Bula Gibbs of Little Rock, Arkansas; one brother-in-law, Roy Kimmer of Rosie, Arkansas and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Herman Hale Kimmer; her daughter, Kathy Ann (Kimmer) Smith; a brother, Thomas Adley Bell; and two sisters, Laura Annas Bell Heasley and Alise ''Bobby'' Marie Bell Hoover.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 5, 2016, at New Hope Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Bethesda with Ryan Puckett and Leonard Tharp officiating. Burial will follow at New Hope Cemetery under the direction of Roller-Crouch Funeral Home of Batesville.

Pallbearers will be Rickey Ray, Stephen Heasley, David Heasley, Rusty Gibbs, Brady Suttle and George Cushman.

Visitation is from 10:00-11:00 a.m., Wednesday at the church prior to the service.

So sorry for your loss. She will be missed by all. She and Annas bought many of pecans from my parents. We loved all of them very very much. If there is anything we can do just let us know.
