Christine Loseman McKinney, 57, of Batesville died Monday, May 25, 2015, at a local nursing home.
Born July 17, 1957, in St. Louis, Missouri, she was the daughter of John Loseman and Rosemary Nogalski Loseman.
She was a registered nurse and a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Batesville.
Survivors include her mother, Rosemary Loseman of Batesville; a son, Robert McKinney of Kansas City, Missouri; a brother, John Loseman Jr. of Batesville; two nieces, Judy Loseman of Batesville and Tiffanie Goodson of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and a great niece, Madelynn McMurray of Salina, Kansas.
She was preceded in death by her father, John Loseman Sr.; an infant brother, Bobby Loseman; and a niece, Andrea McMurray.
A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, May 29, 2015, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Batesville with Father Dhanraj Narla officiating.
A private burial will be at Oaklawn Cemetery in Batesville under the direction of Roller-Crouch Funeral Home.
There will be a rosary at 5:30 p.m., Thursday, May 28, 2015, at Roller-Crouch Funeral Home Chapel followed by a visitation from 6:00-7:30 p.m.
I have many precious memories of time growing up with Christine at the Loseman home. We were the last in our class to keep believing in Santa Claus - still do! I always admired Christine's beautiful smile and kind heart. You were the role model for our class on how to treat others. My condolences to your family.
I went to High School with Christine. She was a year ahead of me in school. My prayers are with the family.
