Dennis Harold Wilf, 68, of Pleasant Plains, formerly of Memphis, Tennessee, died Thursday, January 8. 2015.
He was born in Batesville, Arkansas on June 27, 1946 to James Harold Wilf and Madeline Hook Wilf.
He was a 1964 graduate of Pleasant Plains High School and attended Arkansas State Teacher's College in Conway. He had a 45 year career in retail sales in Memphis. He started his career at Freeman Shoes before moving to Goldsmith's Department, which would later become Macy's Department Store, where he would stay until 2014. Photography, reading, and science fiction movies were some the things enjoyed. He was a member of Pleasant Plains United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his mother, Madeline Hook Wilf of Pleasant Plains; one sister, Marsha Wilf Lewis of Pleasant Plains; a brother, Gary Wilf of Springdale, AR; and three nieces, Staci Lewis of Nashville, TN, Tara Azari of Austin, TX, and Jamie Rabasa of Rogers, AR.
His father preceded him in death.
Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Pleasant Plains Cemetery with Bill Mills officiating and under the direction of Roller-Crouch Funeral Home of Batesville.
No visitation is planned.
