Betty Jo Martin Smith

Betty Jo Martin Smith, 75, of Cushman and Little Rock died Wednesday, October 21, 2009 in Little Rock.

She was born July 1, 1934 in Cushman, Arkansas the daughter of James E. Martin and Nellie Fulbright Martin. She was a homemaker and a member of Cushman United Methodist Church.

Survivors include one son, James Philip Kimmer of Cushman; two daughters, Becky Wood of Cushman and Carlia Smith of Little Rock; one brother, Danny Caniff of Sulphur Rock; four grandchildren, Jodi Brock of Bradford, Jennifer Cowling of Foreman, Tiffany Williams of Hattieville; Jesse Wood of Dallas, Texas; and eight great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, October 24, 2009 at Cushman United Methodist Church with Bro. Bobby Shepherd officiating.

Burial will be at Pleasant Valley Cemetery at Cushman under the direction of Roller-Crouch Funeral Home of Batesville.

Pallbearers are Phil Kimmer, Terry Williams, Gene Smith, Jesse Wood, Glen Wood, and Paul Kimmer.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday, October 23, 2009.
